Texas Elm Slab Side Table
Beautiful thick single slab of a massive Texas elm trunk (ulmus crassifolia), one of the most beautiful and hardest woods of the South. Salvaged from a storm downed tree in the Terrell Hills neighborhood of San Antonio. This giant had dramatic staining of the interior heartwood. I have two tables available from the same section of trunk, both are 17 to 28" wide by 32" long, and one is three inches thick and the other is four inches thick. Legs are powdercoated black steel flat bar 2.5" wide by 1/4" thick and 28" high. Total table height would be 31-32".
