Beautiful thick single slab of a massive cedar elm trunk (ulmus crassifolia), one of the most beautiful and hardest woods of the South. This particular tree was afflicted with wetwood disease, a bacterial infection that doesn't harm the wood quality but causes the tree to bleed/stain the wood in spectacular fashion in the interior of the tree. I have two tables available from the same section of trunk, both are 17 to 28" wide by 32" long, and one is three inches thick and the other is four inches thick. Legs are black steel flat bar 2.5" wide by 1/4" thick and 28" high.
