“The Black Swamp”, 59.5" x 30.5" x 1" mesquite burl dining table with black epoxy inlays and channels. Custom 3 x 1/4” black steel flat bar legs. Finished in oil and beeswax. Fully realized by the artist from milling the salvaged burl in the Calaveras Lake area of San Antonio to selecting the puzzle pattern, pouring the resin channels, and sanding and finishing the piece. Black steel legs also fabricated by the artist.
